Visit the pedestrian zone of Kindberg and enjoy a refreshment in one of our cosy guest gardens or stroll through our numerous shops.
The swimming pond in Stanz or the open-air swimming pool in Kindberg are perfect for cooling off. In Stanz you can take a walk along the beautiful Sonnenweg. The Calvary Church and Georgiberg Church are also worth a visit. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, visit one of our power spots.

The first documented mention of the Georgiberg church dates back to 1232 and it is therefore one of the oldest churches in the Mürztal. On the day of the winter solstice, something very mystical happens on Georgiberg. At noon on this day, 21 December, the sun’s rays penetrate through the southern window right in the middle of the nave, where the Marian column once stood.
Take part in the unique spectacle and afterwards enjoy a wintry walk or stroll through Kindberg’s newly designed town centre with its famous guild tree. In the evening, a table is then reserved for you at the Wirtshaus am Webergut in Stanz, where a delicate menu awaits you.

Enjoy a wintry walk around the Kalvarienberg, stroll through the newly designed town centre in Kindberg with its famous guild tree or visit the late Gothic Ulrichskirche in Stanz. For pure romance, take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the picturesque winter landscape, and in the evening you will be treated to a romantic dinner at the rustic inn at the Webergut.

The highlight of your three-day stay in the tranquil Mürztal scattered fruit region is a three-hour guided snowshoe hike. This starts at the well-known Schwammerlwirt, Gasthaus Pölzl, at around 1,100m above sea level, to Troiseck. We walk up gentle slopes and forest paths to the summit of the Troiseck via the Maurerkreuz. Then we return to the starting point. At the Schwammerlwirt we have a hot drink and a snack.
